Episode #179 – Jenny Stewart
In our first hour free-talk segment, we talked about what we are going to start referring to as the “asscrack of the paranormal.” The worst parts. The shittiest parts. The parts that make you just say, “Eww” and not want to be around it. For us, that is money grabbing disguised as charity, rampant speculation disguised as education, and largely unknown locations becoming “most haunted” within the span of a couple years. Among others, of course. We also talked about our sit-down interview with Dustin Pari before his Owens College lecture Friday night and give our thoughts on his take on God and ghosts. In the 2nd hour, we welcomed Jenny Stewart of PRRS and Distorted Frequency Radio. She talked with us about her research into ghost boxes and her upcoming book which goes more in-depth. But what kind of controls does she use to gain her results? Why has she skipped the peer review portion of research she considers scientific? We also ask her opinions on what the worst parts of the paranormal community are, and discuss ways she and others may be unintentionally contributing to that which is so disliked. Interesting conversation. Listen here: http://www.strangefrequenciesradio.net/Shows/sfr_show179_hour2.mp3
