About Bobby the Paranormal Skeptic

Bobby Nelson is a skeptic, writer, and co-host of Strange Frequencies Radio. His personal blog can be found online at www.porkrhine.com At one time, Bobby was what could be called a "true believer" in paranormal phenomenon. Having been an active investigator of the paranormal for 12 years with several different Toledo based teams, he has examined countless claims of activity. But years worth of research and investigation proved to him that the evidence for these claims are generally lacking and, furthermore, the vast majority of so-called scientific paranormal investigators were using improper methodologies which caused them to draw both false and misleading conclusions.

  1. Thanks for having me on the show! It was fun!

  2. Do you guys still have an RSS feed to download podcasts through iTunes?

  3. Adrian says:

    Hi SFR

I have been listening to your show for a long time. I think it’s safe to say that the majority of your listeners download the archives. Being in from another country, I just cant listen live from my timezone. There seems to be some doubt from you guys over the continued listenership, but I just wanted you to know that some of us appreciate the skeptical turn the show has slowly taken over the years. The paranormal is phony but it needs to be discussed, and at times ridiculed. Most of these paranormal podcasts are dropping like flies, but we think you should keep it up because you have a much deeper and important angle to explore than all of the “we don’t know what that sound was, therefore; GHOST” crowd. Can I suggest that you make your archive the primary focus and ensure they are up to date as soon as possible after recording. I really get cranky when I can’t listen to your latest show! 🙂

    Keep it up guys.
