Episode #184 – JW Ocker
During our free-talk first hour, we celebrated the arrival of Bobby’s new daughter, Nora. And who else but Korbus would complain about it? We also went yet another round regarding Loren Coleman, who can’t seem to stop trying to capitalize on tragedies in order to drive hits to his blog. Though he keeps getting called out, Loren denies, denies, denies. Finally, we touched on the fallout over an atheist billboard, and how people reacted to the recent solar flares. We then welcomed in writer and weird adventurer JW Ocker to the program in our second hour. We talk about his blog, Odd Things I’ve Seen, and discuss some of the stories and travelogues found in his book, The New England Grimpendium. He’s been to the Lizzie Borden house, retraced the drive of Betty and Barney Hill’s alien abduction account, and even survived an entry about Stephen King’s house. You’ll understand what we mean after listening. Anyway, it was a really fun and hilarious discussion about weird places and things. If that’s what you like (and why the hell wouldn’t it be?) check out this interview! Listen at: http://www.strangefrequenciesradio.net/Shows/sfr_show184_hour2.mp3
