Episode 193 – Kenny Biddle joins us live in studio and He and Bobby talk about their trip to Cedar Point, we cover objective morality quickly and let Kenny debate Orbdog ( explicit content )

Episode #193 – Kenny Biddle vs. OrbDog

For only the third time in the history of Strange Frequencies Radio, we had an in-studio guest to interview.  But this was slightly different.  Patrick Doyle was our first, coming all the way from Oregon, to have some laughs and give us a peek at his upcoming Pub Paranormal book.   And when our West Coast Correspondent Lou Castillo was here a couple months back, we simply discussed a variety of topics, including his own take on the paranormal.  An episode, by the way, which still ranks as the least downloaded in show history.

But today, Kenny Biddle joined us to wreak havoc.

Not only did Bobby and Kenny talk about their trip to Cedar Point the day before the show and all the trouble they got into along the way.
We talked with Kenny on his own journey from “believer” to skeptic and how it has changed his outlook on the paranormal community.  We also got into the particular reason for Biddle to be on today:  as a professional photographer and skeptical paranormal investigator, he was the best guy we knew to take on the claims being made by Ken “OrbDog” as to the nature of his many photographs and video clips of orbs, rods and ectoplasm.

In the second hour we were joiUned by Ken (popularly known as OrbDog) who was returning to the program after discussing his “evidence” of paranormal orbs, ectoplasm and robs.  Though the last time he was on we gave him a myriad of possible explanations for his captures, we also provided several controlled experiments he could use to help falsify his evidence.  Has OrbDog done any of it?  Nope.

Then, we unleashed Biddle onto him.  And, like the rabid skeptical attack dog that he is, he directly challenged not only OrbDog’s evidence, but also his process of thinking.  In other words, what logical traps is he falling into to think that orbs are paranormal?  Kenny also systematically explained, from a photographer’s standpoint, what OrbDog was really capturing in his photos and videos.  Things do get heated throughout the episode.  And for the first time in the history of SFR, we hang up on a guest due to them being disrespectful.  Did OrbDog issue denial after denial like he did last time on the show?  Or did some of the rational explanations provided by Biddle get through?  You’ll have to tune in to find out.

About Bobby the Paranormal Skeptic

Bobby Nelson is a skeptic, writer, and co-host of Strange Frequencies Radio. His personal blog can be found online at www.porkrhine.com At one time, Bobby was what could be called a "true believer" in paranormal phenomenon. Having been an active investigator of the paranormal for 12 years with several different Toledo based teams, he has examined countless claims of activity. But years worth of research and investigation proved to him that the evidence for these claims are generally lacking and, furthermore, the vast majority of so-called scientific paranormal investigators were using improper methodologies which caused them to draw both false and misleading conclusions.

  1. Brilliant. Period.

  2. TIna Marie says:

FANTASTIC SHOW!! I can’t wait til hear your next show!! Im a believer and a researcher, but it takes a whole lot to make me go Hmmmmmm. Loved the Cedar Rapids tales LOL!! Great job guys!! Kudos!

  3. This was an entertaining episode. It’s not often that one gets the chance to hear an adult blatantly act like a child during a civil discussion, especially when they so completely represent such an outrageous viewpoint. Mr. Biddle obviously had experience to support his explanations while OrbDog continued to fall back on something like the “You can’t fool me with the truth!”-defense.

I took a look at OrbDog’s site. Yeah…outdoor orb photos? Really?

I look forward to listening to future episodes. Thank you for the show!
