Episode #194 – OPEN TOPIC DISCUSSION

Because our guest list was guest-less, we decided to throw caution to the wind today and instead discuss a few of the biggest stories from the World of the Weird on today’s episode of Strange Frequencies Radio.

After hearing about Bobby’s tale of visiting the new casino and Toledo and listening to Korbus yammer about how repulsed he is by the dregs of humanity who attend these things, we got into discussing the latest news. And since we didn’t have to worry about cutting it short for a guest, we were able to go pretty in-depth on a few of the topics.

For instance, you are probably familiar with the story of the Miami Zombie. Well, what’s the deal with all these other strange reports coming out with cannibalistic imagery? Does it really signal a forthcoming zombie apocalypse or are zombie fans getting out of hand? Korbus bitches about how zombie fans have ruined his love of the genre.

We also discussed the latest in a line of flapdoodle in the skeptical community: this time involving a very public fight between JREF President DJ Grothe and SkepChick provocateur Rebecca Watson. It all boils down to the issue of sexism and whether or not women can feel safe in the forethought movement. We weigh in with our thoughts on the clusterfuckery, how to get it resolved, and basically tell people to STOP TAKING SIDES!

Also, did Jesus really show up in a shower recently? Or do the occupants need to get some scrubbing bubble action going? We check in with Doubtful News and get you the latest.

We came back in the second hour after people in the chat room told us that they could hear Bobby taking a leak and hear us debate what feels best: pissing, shitting or cumming. So we discussed how rude and vile we are when people aren’t watching, but just as much when people are. We gave a history of rude nasty shit we have done both on-air and in public because we think it’s funny. See, we have been called the Beavis and Butthead of the paranormal radio world. Well, guess what? It’s been an honor to serve you, dumbs.

After this, we recapped last week’s show where we featured a debate between Orbdog and professional photographer Kenny Biddle and also got into the aftermath of that episode. We talk about the things Orbdog still has a fundamental misunderstanding of and the long and in-depth conversation we’ve had with him through email since then.
