Episode 205 – Regan Lee on Cryptozoology and “Skeptoid Rot”

Episode #205 – Regan Lee

Strange Frequencies Radio doesn’t often talk politics, but we had a little something to say about the controversy over Rep. Todd Akin’s recent comments on “legitimate rape.”  Hint:  we are not fans.  We also tackle the death of Neil Armstrong, the downfall of Lance Armstrong and maybe, just maybe, talk about a recent argument Bobby had with a Christian.

Fortean writer and researcher Regan Lee stopped by to share her thoughts on cryptozoology.  After talking about how  she got interested, we delve into why she believes in Bigfoot and Chupacabra despite the stunning lack of solid evidence.  Also, why does she hate skeptical investigators like Ben Radford and Joe Nickell so much?  One she calls “skeptoid rot” and the other she refuses to even call a paranormal investigator!  We touch on it all in the 2nd hour.

Getting 404 errors for the mp3s.

  2. Regan Lee says:

I had a good time thank you. I apologize for what may have seemed like my talking over you two, or cutting you off. When I listened to the show later, I realized there were times one of you asked a question or made a comment, but I was having a lot of trouble hearing you and during the interview I simply didn’t always hear a question or comment.

    • Jason Korbus says:

No worries, Regan. That happens on both sides sometimes. All in all, we were both really happy with how it went. We enjoyed having you.
