Episode 214 – Kirby Robinson investigates Paranormal State’s “I Am Six”

Episode #214 – Kirby Robinson

It’s the last show before Election Day here in the United States (and also the last show before our one week break) so we talked about a few related issues in today’s first hour.  One, we talked about taking advantage of early voting in Ohio, Trick or Treating on Halloween and, yes, a few stories from the news…like, how Bob Larson’s Exorcist show was canceled before it aired!  Psychics fail Chris French’s simple test, Jeff Probst goes undercover to showcase psychic fraud and finally, we also get into the new investigative article on The Bent Spoon about “psychic mortician” Mariah de la Croix and talk about how a local establishment in Toledo suddenly became haunted in the last couple years.

Up next, we welcomed back Kirby Robinson to the show.  We talk to Kirby about why, even after years of Paranormal State being off the air, he continues to talk and release books about it?  In particular, we talk about the famous I Am Six episode and what Kirby’s particular problems with it are.  We cover Kirby’s investigation which he has highlighted in his book, “Never Mock God,” and find out just what he thinks of the exorcism rituals used in the show, as well as his thoughts on the recently deceased Father Andrew Calder being a charlatan.
