Episode 228 – Strange Frequencies Radio: After Dark

Don't feed us after midnight!

This is what happens when you feed us after midnight!

This late-night special was so big that a guest was not required.  First, is it true we finally have an RSS feed and are back on iTunes?  Yes!  Check us out!  Then, after a few other quick announcements about how to find us on Facebook and Twitter, we jumped into “the week in weird.”  An infamous “haunted house” where a ghost hunter was once shot now has a new home, and a known Bigfoot hoaxer is back who swears that, this time, the sasquatch body is REAL.  Also, a claim of Spontaneous Human Combustion in Oklahoma is getting some people excited – but we think it’s foolish.

We finally get into the Jeff Sylvia rant about the paranormal field, and find that Brian Harnois has been saying similar things on his Facebook, too.  Hilarity ensues.  Plus, we check in with our buddy, and “Ghost Mine” star Patrick Doyle to go over the show’s ratings and find out why he is so eager to get a 2nd season.

temporarylogo1.pngWe also touch on papal infallibility (and the rumor that the Pope is seeking immunity amid child sex abuse coverups and new reports of gay clergy blackmail), quotes from James Randi in Will Storr’s new book that has “the Amazing” one in a bit of hot water, Tim Tebow deciding to cancel an appearance at a radical extremist church and, what’s this about psychics being arrested in Denver?  Hey, sounds good…but why not go for the big fish like John Edward, Sylvia Browne and James van Praagh, too?
