SFR 282: A Skeptical Look at an Afterlife Experience

Fred Phelps Sr., the founder of the Westbo Baptist Church, has passed away after being excommunicated from his own church in the summer of 2013.
Kevin Trudeau is sentenced to 10 years in prison for the lies and fraud “They” don’t want you to know about. It’s always good news when a scam artist gets put away, and this guy definitely had it coming.
–Media outlets like Fox News and CNN have compared Malaysia Flight 370 to Noah’s Ark, and speculated it could have been sucked up by a black hole or the Bermuda Triangle.
johnsweiss–Despite the death of Harold Ramis, the non-interest of Bill Murray, and Ivan Reitman abandoning the directorial duties, Ghostbusters 3 is set to begin filming as early as Fall 2014.
–In a hilarious turn of events on Twitter, Jenny McCarthy gets taken to the woodshed for her anti-vaccination views. She responds in the most pathetic of ways which shows the criticism is working.
–There are new details about the Stan Romanek child pornography investigation and arrest that make his situation appear very dire indeed.
–POST-INTERVIEW: An ugly chapter within the skeptical community has hopefully come to a close.
