SFR 299: The Science of Tallywacker Size

–Richard Dawkins is in hot water again for comments he made on Twitter about aborting fetuses with Down Syndrome. We try to give some context to the comments, and ask what each other would do if we were carrying babies with this genetic disorder.
–American journalist James Foley is beheaded by Islamic State radicals in retaliation for U.S. airstrikes in Iraq. Can someone see this video and still think faith is a virtue? What is the difference between a religious fundamentalist and the average religious person, anyway?
SFR_Eye–The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has its share of doubters and detractors. Despite how many of us are tired of seeing the videos, the fact is, it is succeeding beyond anyone’s expectations. Still…what should people do if challenged?
Henry Rollins wrote a piece for LA Weekly saying he has lost respect for Robin Williams, as well as anyone else who commits suicide. This, of course, led many people to lose respect for Henry Rollins, which eventually led him to apologize.
–Penis size is a subject which both fascinates and troubles many men, with up to 45% of guys feeling their penis is too small. Well, we’ve dug into the science of tallywhackers, and the truth is most men have nothing to worry about.
–How long should sexual intercourse last? We checked out a couple informal polls, and the answers may be surprising to some.
–Korbus relates a story from this past week where he discovered an article he wrote about fraud within the paranormal community was heavily plagiarized by someone else writing about fraud in the paranormal community.
–Facebook is planning to add a satire tag to links from sources like The Onion. This may be very useful. Still, why are so many people so quick to post fake news stories without doing even a moment of fact-checking? We have a few possible answers.
