SFR 379: For Rachel

–Our friend Rachel Wolf, affectionately known as SFR’s “Creative Consultant,” passed away on Friday after a long illness. We spend the first part of the show remembering her with laughs and sadness.
–During a rally in Dallas over police brutality, an anti-white gunman opened fire on police officers, killing five and wounding others, before ultimately being killed himself.
–Two shootings of black men by police officers, Alton Sterling in Louisiana, and Philando Castile in Minnesota, are creating further outrage and division.
–Take the Cake, a bakery right here in our hometown of Toledo, OH, accepts an order for a birthday cake, then rescinds it later after finding out the customer is gay.
–Hillary Clinton has either had the best past couple weeks, or the worst. There may be “no new evidence” of wrongdoing in the House Benghazi investigation, and no charges filed over the email scandal, but she has definitely not come out of this unscathed.

About Jason Korbus

Friend, family member, possible werewolf. I co-host Strange Frequencies Radio, blog at Confidential Korbus, and generally walk among the weird. When I'm not doing busywork, I can usually be found with my nose in a book, my eyes glued to a glowing screen, or my ears tuned to The Ramones.
