–We attempt to start off the show as our alter egos, Nigel the Cosmonaut and Sammy Spacecraft, on our fictional podcast Cosmic Conundrum (or is it Cosmic Quandaries?), but after we play our cheesy musical intro, it dissolves into a laughing fit.
—Roseanne Barr sent out a racist tweet about Valerie Jarrett, and all it cost her was her show, talent agency, and syndication revenue. We talk about the repercussions of free speech, and how people of different political persuasions so often end up confused about the concept.
–Bobby went to see the new Star Wars story, Solo, four times. He gives a spoiler-free review, though it is hard to “spoil” a movie that has little surprise about how it all ends up. Doesn’t stop Jason from taking the occasional potshot at the series and its fandom. Fight him!
In our second segment, we interview paranormal author Nick Redfern about his latest books: The Slenderman Mysteries, as well as The Black Diary. But like any chat with Nick, we also end up talking about chupacabras, thoughtforms, and murder mysteries with a supernatural angle. All in all, it was fun reconnecting after such a long hiatus.
–After the interview, Jason brings up Alex Jones again, only to mention how he is being sued by six more Sandy Hook families accusing him of defamation. Bobby agrees that Alex Jones is despicable, but we each wonder if these lawsuits will ultimately end up in victories.
