SFR 487: It’s A Surprise!

–Don’t freak out! SFR opens with a song you’ve never heard before (and a brief history of the Toledo rap scene) but we’re still the show you love.
–Game of Thrones was too dark, Bobby says. He couldn’t see a damn thing! But in brighter news, he really liked Avengers EndGame. Jason can’t relate, since he hasn’t seen any of this stuff.
–Jason doesn’t give “two shits or a fuck” about Star Wars, but Bobby is still in the fog.
pigandwolfSFRLorraine Warren dies, and while Jason isn’t eager to dance on her grave, he can’t find his way to respecting someone who was responsible for so many lies and hoaxes.
–Church membership at an all-time low in America, with Catholics the biggest loss. Bobby speculates about people being uncomfortable with the child sex scandal, but also admits for the first time on SFR that he now sends one of his daughters to a Catholic school.
–We briefly touch on the attacks that resulted in hundreds of dead in Sri Lanka, and how Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Julian Castro each used the phrase “Easter worshippers” to refer to the massacred Christians. We think it’s peculiar.
–Next, we touch on the concept of Dark Tourism after receiving an email asking us for ideas on places to visit. Boy, do we go crazy! Bobby goes through a list of his own, and Jason is eager to talk about the kill sites of his favorite serial killers.
–Bobby went to Cleveland and accidentally found himself at the Christmas Story house!
-END TIMES: Biden finally announces his candidacy, and Bobby is all “ready, set, Joe!” Plus, William Barr and the Mueller Report has made everyone crazy. Jason has three major takeaways.

About Jason Korbus

Friend, family member, possible werewolf. I co-host Strange Frequencies Radio, blog at Confidential Korbus, and generally walk among the weird. When I'm not doing busywork, I can usually be found with my nose in a book, my eyes glued to a glowing screen, or my ears tuned to The Ramones.
