SFR 489: This Episode is Phat!

–UFOlogist, amd multiple time guest of SFR, Stanton Friedman, has passed away. We share some memories of encounters we’ve had with him, do some hilariously awful impressions, and give our take on some of the skeptical world’s reaction to his death as well.
–Alabama has passed the most restrictive abortion law in the nation, and the ACLU and Planned Parenthood have vowed to sue. Will this make it to the Supreme Court? If so, what could happen? We also do a little back and forth about the arguments that “pro-life” and “pro-choice” sides make about the abortion issue.
–A quick update on our own local “prophetess” Opal Covey, who made her pro wrestling debut this past week. Jason turns Bobby on to a famous pro wrestling clip, and his reaction says it all.
–The first black faculty dean in Harvard’s history will not return to that job after the university succumbs to the mob. His “crime” according to the privileged and woke students of the most prestigious university in the country? He agreed to represent Harvey Weinstein in court. The horror! The shame! The…Sixth Amendment!
–Jason is once again flummoxed by the celebration of morbid obesity by those in the “body positivity” movement. Bobby joins him in decrying it, saying morbid obesity is not awesome or healthy.
–We discuss the drumbeat for war with Iran as the tensions increase.

About Jason Korbus

Friend, family member, possible werewolf. I co-host Strange Frequencies Radio, blog at Confidential Korbus, and generally walk among the weird. When I'm not doing busywork, I can usually be found with my nose in a book, my eyes glued to a glowing screen, or my ears tuned to The Ramones.
