–The Strange Boys are back again. Why does it always feel like we’re coming back from another week off? Pretty much because we are, huh?
–We are recording this in the early morning hours of Independence Day, why? Bobby has to watch every fireworks display in the tri-state area, apparently.
–Local man accidentally kills himself in a fireworks accident, and the devastation to his chest is mentioned ad nauseum. This brings up memories of days gone by wherein it wasn’t the 4th unless you were shooting your friends with bottle rockets or roman candles.
–A major paranormal show is back from the dead. That’s right, Ghost Hunters is back later this summer, along with a handful of other similar shows that has Jason disappointed in the A&E network. But talking about ghosts brings back memories of our last case as paranormal investigators, as how we knew we were done before we got back to the car.
–Do you have a particular historical, or celebrity ghost sighting you’re fond of? Bobby mentions the stories of Michael Jackson seen around Neverland, while Jason talks about Lincoln wandering the halls of the White House after his death.
—MUFON turns 50, and it gives us a chance to talk a bit about organizations we’ve joined just for the cool swag. However, there was another club we cut ties with when they served us terrible steaks.
–Bob Lazar is everywhere all of a sudden. On Netflix in a new documentary, and on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. The creepy part is that so many people are being influenced by him. But there was one pretty outspoken UFOlogist named Stanton Friedman who looked into his story and found it to be complete bunk.
–We open up the SFR Mailbag, and take on questions about the perfect taco, the crisis at the southern border, and whether or not belief (even in nonsense) can actually make you a more hopeful person.
–Bobby’s daughter has recently shed her belief in Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, etc. and it all pretty much happened at once.
