SFR 546: The Foodie and the Fatty

–Jason is getting twisted on hard tea, and we discuss our favorite kinds of tea.

–How do we know we are gay? Not because we like tea, no!  Because occasionally we’ll get hooked on lady shows. Jason admits to falling hard for a couple seasons of Desperate Housewives years ago, while Bobby has fallen for the sweet siren’s song of Downton Abbey and Bridgerton.

–Are there certain books that you keep close by?  Maybe at your bedside or near your desk?  For Bobby, it’s Roger Ebert books. For Jason it’s Rocky DVDs.

–Bobby discusses his weight loss experience with intermittent fasting. Jason’s concept of it is, shall we say, a little different.

–We discuss our experience getting the first dose of the Moderna vaccine, including the process of getting the injections, to side effects we have experienced, and more.

–We are proud carnivores, and starting with Jason talking about eating giant sausage patties everyday, we start talking about our favorite cuts of meat, and our perfect diets. Bring on the meats, then bring on death.

–Our Youtube series, The Foodie and the Fatty is still in pre-production. We have plans for episodes on pizza, burgers, sandwiches, tacos, and more.

–More food talk! Bobby gives out the recipe for spaghetti carbonara.

–Jason has come to terms with people liking him, and assures Bobby that instead of no-showing gatherings, he will begin showing up. We start planning get togethers after we are inoculated.

–Bobby has been kind of obsessed with death lately, and has now taken to thinking about the process of death and wanting to experience it fully when his time comes.

–Watching documentaries of people who live in appalachia, and pondering whether their simple and unsophisticated existence is better.

About Jason Korbus

Friend, family member, possible werewolf. I co-host Strange Frequencies Radio, blog at Confidential Korbus, and generally walk among the weird. When I'm not doing busywork, I can usually be found with my nose in a book, my eyes glued to a glowing screen, or my ears tuned to The Ramones.
