SFR 547: Shoe Money Tonight

–Bobby’s basement has prehistoric style wiring, and we had to put off this recording so he could buy adapters that allow him to operate his computer.

–Time is weird. We mark it by how old actors were the last time we saw them in a movie.

–Jason helped Bobby win some money betting on sports, specifically the Ben Askren vs Jake Paul fight.

–A quick aside about Streetbeefs

–Bobby received his second dose of the Moderna vaccine, and explains the side effects he experienced.

–After we’re both full vaccinated, we’ll be scheduling MMA nights together, and Jason is looking forward to seeing more friends.

–Did the Pentagon confirm UFOs? Not so fast. The statement confirms photos and videos were real, not that alien spacecrafts (or any other kind of crafts) were captured on film. Jason gives a shoutout to Mick West and his work at Metabunk.

–What is your state’s most-search conspiracy theory? Here in Ohio, it’s that the moon landing was a hoax. But in California they apparently are all about black helicopters.

–The J&J vaccine has been paused while investigations take place into side effects involving blood clots. Bobby is concerned that these rare side effects will feed into anti-vax views. Jason wonders if the messaging coming from Dr Fauci and other public health officials is causing more suspicion about vaccines in general.

About Jason Korbus

Friend, family member, possible werewolf. I co-host Strange Frequencies Radio, blog at Confidential Korbus, and generally walk among the weird. When I'm not doing busywork, I can usually be found with my nose in a book, my eyes glued to a glowing screen, or my ears tuned to The Ramones.
