Episode 221 – Bryan Bonner de-mystifies the Denver UFO

Our first show after Christmas has Bobby stricken by laryngitis and Korbus telling him to stop his squeaking.   It also has us talking about the gifts we gave and received and why a couple of atheists celebrate this holiday.  We speak about Peter Higgs’s criticism of Richard Dawkins as a “fundamentalist,” discuss the news of the recent firefighter assassination and the Indian man killed by a Hindu and Muslim hating maniac in the NYC subway.  Oh, and has a Bigfoot been captured live?  Haha…almost definitely not.

bonnerIn our second hour, we spoke to Bryan Bonner of the Rocky Mountain Paranormal Research Society and Warning! Radio about the investigation he and his partner Baxter did on the Denver UFO case.  Though the local FOX affiliate continues to lend credence to this ridiculous story, Bryan explains how easy it was to solve the mystery and laments the continuing loss of journalistic integrity in the media.  Seriously, are ratings more important than facts?  Is sensationalism the order of the day?  What do we do when we can’t trust “the news”?

About Jason Korbus

Friend, family member, possible werewolf. I co-host Strange Frequencies Radio, blog at Confidential Korbus, and generally walk among the weird. When I'm not doing busywork, I can usually be found with my nose in a book, my eyes glued to a glowing screen, or my ears tuned to The Ramones.
