Though it wasn’t a big week for paranormal stories in the news, but still we had plenty of stuff to talk about. Bobby gave an update on the legalities of “Ghost Mine” via his recent chat with star Patrick Doyle. We also spoke about Arizona Republicans who are trying to make high school grads take an oath to god and country (story tip: Steve Gilkes), a Catholic Priest “breaking bad” as a money laundering drug dealer, and a lawyers for a Catholic hospital deciding that, only when it benefits the church, a fetus is not a person. And, just to liven up the mood, we talk about the news that JJ Abrams will be directing the next Star Wars movie and what makes Star Trek and Star Wars better than one another.

In our second hour, we spoke to Stan Gordon about UFOs, Bigfoot, and the “high strangeness” some investigators report when investigating paranormal-style claims. We first encountered Stan at this past year’s Mothman Festival and had a good deal to talk about. We got into what Stan considers himself – an investigator? Hunter? Researcher? – and talked about just what exactly he believes. Of course, we delved into a menagerie of monsters, and found out where a “believer” and one more skeptical can agree.
