–Bobby start the show by talking about his dog. Jason jumps in, and they end up commiserating about their shared canine problems. But that leads us to talking about a story involving a woman whose “last wish” was apparently to euthanize her healthy dog so it could be with her in death, and then we are both outraged! Rawr!
–Washington becomes the first state to allow human bodies to be composted.
–Game of Thrones is over and lots of people are devastated. So much so that some may actually need therapy. (Beware: this segment includes spoilers from the last season/last episode)
–The IT: Chapter Two trailer was dropped a couple weeks back, and we were creeped out enough to want to see more. We go over the cast a bit, and we’re sure to make this theatrical experience another group outing when the movie is released.
–Jason got a jury duty summons a while back, and it turns out his service was not needed this go around. But Bobby received a questionnaire from the government about his potential to be selected as a juror in a federal trial. We also talk a bit about the potential for “professional juries.”
–Jason is in the market for a “lucky coin” or amulet, and was surprised to learn how many such objects on eBay are overtly sexual. Bobby talks a bit about something he carries with him regularly, though it isn’t for luck. We also hear from the Freqs about the objects they carry, which we thought were very cool!
–Finally, we open the SFR Mailbag and field a few questions from the loyal listeners out there. Pterodactyl Mike asks if dogs think we are other dogs, and we actually have an answer! Mr Chicago asks a variety of questions, including whether or not pets can sense impending doom (or ghosts).
–The show ends with a quick discussion about presidential candidates appearing on FOX News, and we say good for them!
